Greener Litigation

Henderson Chambers has signed up to the Greener Litigation Pledge.

Greener Litigation is an initiative to reduce the environmental impact of dispute resolution by developing and publishing guidelines for court users to adopt when conducting litigation and analysing how technology can assist in this too.

Signatories to the Pledge commit to making practical changes to the way they operate, to make positive contributions in the journey towards net zero. As a set, Henderson Chambers are taking many steps to reduce our carbon footprint. We support the objectives of the Greener Litigation Pledge. We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of litigation in which we are involved in line with the Greener Litigation Pledge.

Chambers joined the PrintReleaf programme in June 2024 – an initiative which helps to reduce the environmental impact of our business by monitoring our paper consumption and printer usage to calculate our paper footprint. Based on this calculation, PrintReleaf then replants a specific number of trees in certified global reforestation projects and offsets the carbon associated with the production of fiber-based materials.
