Advocate
Many of our barristers at Henderson Chambers provide free legal assistance to those who need it, in partnership with Advocate.
Advocate is the Bar’s national pro bono charity, allowing barristers to volunteer in cases where parties cannot afford to cover their legal costs. They are the only pro bono charity to provide assistance in all areas of law, in all courts and tribunals in England and Wales.
We have appointed a Pro Bono Champion who works closely with Advocate and oversees our contribution to pro bono work.
In celebration of Advocate’s 25th anniversary of providing legal aid, four of our Members took part in the 25 for 25 Pro Bono Challenge, each providing
