The Consumer Rights Act 2015: Unfair Terms
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 comes into force on 1 October 2015. In anticipation, Henderson Chambers is publishing a series of Alerters reviewing the key provisions.
The series began on 3 September 2015 with an overview by Noel Dilworth. In the second article, Lucy McCormick focused on the new consumer rights and remedies in respect of digital content. This third article in the series by George Mallet, considers the reforms to unfair terms. Finally, Rachel Tandy will consider the extent to which the new provisions will apply alongside various industry-specific regulations.
