All at Henderson Chambers were very sorry to hear of the death of Sir William (Bill) Gage on 13th September 2023, aged 85. A member of chambers until his appointment as a High Court Judge of the Queen’s Bench Division in 1993, he was promoted to Lord Justice of Appeal in 2004 and retired in 2008, after which he chaired high-profile public inquiries.
He is much missed by those who knew him in chambers and around the Inns of Court.
A small private service of thanksgiving will take place on Monday 2nd October 2023 in Banbury. For further information click here.
