A firefighter represented by Rachel Tandy has been acquitted of all charges after a two week trial in the Crown Court at St Albans. The defendant was charged with causing death by dangerous (alternatively careless) driving, following an accident en route to a reported house fire. The fire engine he had been driving overturned on a roundabout, tragically killing a pedestrian.
The case was the subject of press coverage from BBC and ITV news.
Rachel was instructed by Kennedys Solicitors and led by Mark Balysz (Crown Office Chambers).
Henderson Chambers continues to be a leading set for Health and Safety, and is ranked in the top tier in the legal directories.
