A sash window of opportunity for workers? Holiday pay and the King v SWWL case considered – Seminar 7 February 2018
Following Mr King’s landmark victory in the ECJ in his claim against The Sash Window Workshop, James Williams, who represented Mr King, will give a talk in chambers on Wednesday 7 February 2018 at 5.00pm.
The decision has been described as a “bombshell judgment” and will have a profound effect on the application of the Working Time Regulations, particularly in the gig economy. All employers must be aware of its consequences, particularly those with staff of uncertain employment status.
See news article relating to the judgment here.
