Isha has a broad commercial litigation practice. She frequently appears in both the County Court and the Winding Up Court. She has appeared as sole counsel in the High Court for a final hearing of a property dispute. She is also engaged as sole counsel in a commercial High Court matter. Regularly appearing unled in the High Court demonstrates experience beyond her year of call.
Isha acts as Junior Counsel on the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry for the Government Legal Department (JJ Scheme). She has been instructed to act for a major retailer in a high profile equal pay group litigation.
Isha has worked on matters across a spectrum of practice areas within Chambers, encompassing group litigation, public inquiries, product liability, property, health and safety, employment, consumer credit, data protection, civil fraud, and harassment cases.
In 2023, Isha embarked on a one-month secondment with Griffiths and Partners in the Turks and Caicos Islands, gaining invaluable experience while working closely with the litigation team on a range of cases.
Isha graduated top of her year in Law at the University of York and has completed the BCL at the University of Oxford. She received the Queen Mother scholarship from Middle Temple. Isha has also spoken at the House of Lords. Before starting pupillage, she volunteered for the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Offshore
During four weeks in the Turks and Caicos Islands in February and March 2023, Isha saw a broad range of offshore litigious work. This included contentious trust matters, a property case involving the ownership of accreted land, a contractual dispute where a restriction (freezing order) had been obtained on valuable parcels of land, and a TCI Islander Status judicial review case. Isha also drafted pleadings on a high-net-worth ancillary relief claim. She assisted on various hearings, including on a complex recusal application with significant implications for the judiciary in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Isha is comfortable advising on substantive offshore matters as well as assisting ancillary support matters within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Competition
Isha welcomes instructions on competition matters. She studied collective proceedings with leading academics (Professor Adrian Zuckerman and Andrew Higgins) during the BCL at the University of Oxford.
