Kate read Geography at Hertford College, Oxford, where she ranked second in examinations and won several prizes including a commendation from the Royal Geographical Society. She obtained distinctions in both the GDL and the Bar Course at City University, London, and was awarded Lord Brougham and Denning Scholarships by Lincolns Inn.
Prior to joining Chambers, Kate completed pupillage at a leading commercial set, where she gained experience in commercial litigation, professional negligence, construction, and insurance. She also worked on public law cases including advising government departments. Before her legal studies, Kate undertook an internship at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
Kate is open for instruction across all areas of Chambers’ practice.
