Camilla Draycott read history at Lincoln College, Oxford. She was awarded the Astbury scholarship and the Queen Mother’s scholarship and was called to the bar by Middle Temple. Camilla is currently a third six pupil in Chambers.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Camilla was awarded the Fox Scholarship. She worked for a year in Toronto at the litigation firm Lenczner Slaght and undertook a secondment at WeirFoulds in the Caribbean offshore litigation team. She also clerked (judicial assistant) for Justice MacPherson at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Camilla was the further recipient of the Middle Temple Anglo-American scholarship and worked for several months in a U.S. litigation firm.
Camilla completed pupillage at a top-tier commercial and chancery set of chambers. She gained wide experience of high value commercial work, including insolvency, company law and worldwide freezing injunctions, in addition to traditional chancery work, including estates and offshore trusts.
Camilla is developing a practice across a broad range of Chambers’ specialisms and has been instructed on her own account. She is currently supporting her supervisor in the upcoming Bates & Ors. v Post Office Group Litigation.
