Amelia graduated top of her year from Cardiff University with a First Class LLB and was awarded the Oxford University Press Prize for the highest overall performance across the Law and Social and Political Science degree programmes. She won the Cardiff University mooting competition, the final of which was held at the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and judged by Lord Lloyd-Jones, who noted how impressed he was with her advocacy.
Amelia went on to complete an LLM at the University of Cambridge, supported by an academic award. She was one of only four candidates selected to undertake the public law dissertation, during which she interviewed Lord Neuberger. She also served as an Associate Editor of the Cambridge Law Review.
Amelia completed the Bar Course in 2025 at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
Prior to pupillage, Amelia represented an NGO with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council at the 13th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva, contributing to work under the mandate of the Working Group on Business and Human Rights. She also worked as a paralegal at a leading national solicitors’ firm.
