Government Departments obtain reverse summary judgment in a claim brought by a former civil servant
In Andrew Hale-Byrne v Secretaries of State for Business and Trade and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs [2025] EWHC 3205 (KB), Garnham J granted reverse summary judgment in favour of the Defendants in a case brought by a former civil servant involving a closed material procedure under the Justice and Security Act 2013. Adam Heppinstall KC and James Purnell acted for the Defendants.
