In the spirit of Christmas, and in lieu of sending Christmas cards to our clients, Henderson Chambers is making a donation to SPONSORSTARS.
Their founder Sue Laidlaw says;
“Sponsorstars is a small registered charity, which was founded in 2016 as a response to the fact that around 4 million children are living in poverty, in all corners of UK. This impacts on their school and life opportunities. Sponsorstars provide grants to nominated children, via their school. Many of the children who are recipients do not have a warm winter coat or basic school uniform, money to join the school trip, even underwear or sanitary protection. Sadly, the list is endless.
Sponsorstars is so called because it is the charity’s aim to help those children facing hardship to shine a bit more brightly at school and in their future life and opportunities. Education is precious, and a good education is a great leveller. It is Sponsorstars’ aim to level the playing field for children with small but essential grants.
