John Ratliff will be speaking at the 34th Annual Advanced EU Competition Law conference in Brussels organised by Informa Connect, which will be held between 17-19 November 2025.

John’s presentation is on “Major Events and Policy Issues in EU Competition Law 2024-2025” and takes place at 9.50 am on Tuesday 18 November.

He will cover:

• New EC policy initiatives
• Legislation – adopted and proposed (including changes to the EU Transfer of Technology BE and Guidelines)
• ECJ/GC cases (including cartel appeals re. bond trading, access to digital platforms and the enforceability of CAS awards in the EU)
• EC antitrust decisions on cartels and Art.102 TFEU, and informal EC guidance letters on sustainability
