Henderson Chambers is delighted to announce that Benn Sheridan has joined chambers as a tenant with immediate effect, having successfully completed pupillage.
Benn read for a BA in History at Magdalen College, Oxford, before converting to law at City University as a Lord Haldane Scholar and completing the Bar Course as a Lord Denning Scholar.
Prior to joining Chambers, Benn worked in the disputes team of a leading solicitors’ firm, gaining experience in commercial, employment, and mass tort litigation. During pupillage, he developed his experience across chambers’ core practice areas, including group litigation, commercial litigation, product liability, employment, health and safety, and inquests.
Benn was highly commended by the Bar Council in its 2024 essay competition for his analysis of collective redress regimes in the English courts. He has trial experience as sole counsel in both the County and Magistrates’ Courts.
Benn has assisted more senior members on cases in the High Court, Employment Tribunal, and Court of Appeal on matters involving civil fraud, economic torts, vicarious liability, and commercial injunctions. He is now accepting instructions across all Chambers’ practice areas, whether as sole counsel or as part of a team.
