Prashant Popat KC appears at inquest into the death of Leicester City FC’s owner and four others

Prashant Popat KC appeared at Leicester Coroners’ Court at an inquest into the deaths of five people, including Leicester City FC’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, arising from a helicopter crash on 27 October 2018.

The inquest jury delivered its verdict on Tuesday, 28 January ruling that the crash was an accident, after being previously directed by senior coroner Catherine Mason that only an accidental conclusion could be reached. Prashant appeared for Leonardo S.p.A, the OEM of the aircraft, instructed by Anna Anatolitou of DAC Beachcroft LLP.
