Adam Heppinstall successfully represents Secretary of State for Transport in Channel Tunnel Freedom of Information Case

In Cox v Information Commissioners and Secretary of State for Transport, the Information Rights section of the First-tier Tribunal (GRC) rejected an appeal from the refusal of the Information Commissioner to direct the Department of Transport to disclose security details relating to the Channel Tunnel. The Tribunal found that the national security exemption applied (section 24, FOIA). A copy of the decision is here.
