Supreme Court refers case to CJEU – R (AIMS and another) v Food Standards Agency
The Supreme Court, sitting in Cardiff, has today given a judgment referring the case of R (on the application of AIMS and another) v Food Standards Agency to the Court of Justice of the European Union. The case concerns the question of whether there is, in EU law, a right of challenge or appeal against the decision of an Official Veterinarian (OV) that slaughtered meat is unfit for human consumption.
