On Wednesday 27th July 2016, Lord Justice Jackson granted the Environmental team including Charles Gibson QC, Professor Alan Dashwood QC and Geraint Webb QC, who are acting on behalf Vedanta and KCM, permission to appeal on the papers against the Judgment of Coulson J dismissing their jurisdictional challenges; he noted that “the issues raised are important and the arguments raised on both appeals have a sufficient prospect of success to justify the grant of permission.
