  • Advising and acting for major food retailing chains as to leasehold renewal, dilapidations, freehold covenants and generally
  • Advising and acting in development disputes concerning a major retail outlet in Regent Street W1
  • Advising and acting in leasehold renewal and associated claims at the Trocadero, Piccadilly
  • Advising and acting in relation to leasehold disputes arising out of warehouse retailing operation
Employment
  • Race discrimination case against an international sportswear brand

Health and safety
  • Acting for one of the defendants in a prosecution of a major retailer and several of their contractors as a result of asbestos contamination of several stores.  The allegation concerned the retailer’s procedures to deal with asbestos and whether they were seriously deficient leading to a wide-scale problem of asbestos contamination in many of their stores
  • Major prosecution against a major retailer and various of its contractors in relation to the alleged failure to deal adequately with asbestos contamination in various stores in the south of England
  • Instructed by one of the producers of contaminated petrol that was supplied by supermarkets to thousands of motorists by various supermarkets
