- Defending company facing charges arising from a fatal workplace accident, where a lift fitter was killed due to allegedly poor working practises and inadequate equipment.
- Acting on behalf of the Defendant employer in a near fatal workplace accident, caused by a collapse of a working platform
- Advised and represented a construction company in respect of the prosecution arising from a crane fall during the construction of the Altitude 25 development in Croydon in which 8 people were seriously injured and £10M worth of property damage was sustained to a nearby hotel and commercial buildings
- Acting for a construction company in respect of a fatality during the course of the construction of the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.Acting for the Government of a British dependent territory in relation to proposals for the construction of a new power station

- Eskom v. Alstom & Others (Commercial Court 2008): dispute between the largest power utility in Africa and companies the Alstom Group following a catastrophic failure at a power station
- ICC International Court Arbitration (parties confidential): acting for the insurer in a multi million pound subrogated claim against one of Europe’s largest engineering groups
- International Commercial Arbitration, UNCITRAL Rules (parties confidential): acting for the insurer in a multi-million pound arbitration in the Middle East under local law concerning coverage in connection with a major plant failure
- Adams & Palmer v. Smart (TCC) construction contract dispute arising out of refurbishment of Mayfair property owned by Circus tycoon
- Advice to London Development Agency (LDA) in respect of compulsory purchase orders for construction of infrastructure for London Olympics 2012.
- Faraday Capital Ltd v. Reliance Scrap Metal Merchants (Parkstone) Ltd: acting for insurers in a claim for recover of sums paid under an employers’ liability policy for costs incurred in defending proceedings dishonestly (settled late 2009)
