Events
The finance and consumer credit team held a seminar on Wednesday March 21st in the Parliament Chambers of the Inner Temple. Chairman of the Finance and Consumer Credit practice group, Toby Riley-Smith chaired the evening. Speakers were Julia Smith, William Hibbert, Nicole Robertson and Nazeer Chowdhury. Feedback from clients has been excellent and the talks proved very popular.
14th March 2012 - Peter Susman QC chaired a CLT conference on Disciplinary and Regulator Tribunals: Practice and Procedure in 2012. Kenneth Hamer and Adam Heppinstall spoke on recent case law and developments and freedom of information/data protection. See here for further details.
Members of the product liability and health and safety practice groups held a dinner for clients at the Reform Club in November 2011. The event was a great success and was well received by all clients and members of chambers.
February 2011: the finance and consumer credit team held a seminar on the implementation of the Consumer Credit Directive. Six short talks were given (one hour of CPD), interspersed with Champagne and canapés, and we trust that the evening was both informative and interesting for our clients.
