Public International Law

Henderson Chambers has an established public international law practice, representing and advising States, governments, non-governmental organizations, individuals and corporations on a range of issues.

Much of Chambers’ work focuses on questions relating to Brexit and the interaction between EU and public international law.  Members of Chambers also act as counsel or adviser in disputes and situations across a range of areas of public international law including sovereignty and territorial disputes, law of the sea (including maritime boundaries and the continental shelf), investment protection, self-determination and statehood, State and diplomatic immunity, the law of treaties, international criminal law and the laws of war.

They have acted in cases before a variety of international courts and tribunals including the International Court of Justice.
