Public International Law

Henderson Chambers has a growing public international law practice, representing and advising States, governments, non-governmental organizations, individuals and corporations on a range of issues.

Particular members of Chambers have expertise in matters relating to State and diplomatic immunity, the protection of foreign investment, international organisations, international human rights, trade law, peace and ceasefire agreements, the laws of war, self-determination and minority rights, statehood and recognition.  They appear in both domestic and international courts and tribunals.  They are also instructed in an advisory capacity, or as part of a delegation in international negotiations.

Certain members of Chambers complement private practice with academic appointments at leadings universities within this field.  They are experienced conducting public international law trainings in the UK and abroad.
