Natasha has developed a broad commercial and civil practice and has gained particular distinction in commercial disputes and employment law. She acts as sole counsel before a wide range of courts and tribunals, at first instance and on appeal. Natasha is equally at ease working within teams of lawyers in substantial litigation. She speaks fluent French, Hindi and Punjabi and conversational Spanish.
Employment
Natasha frequently acts on behalf of employers and employees in areas including unfair dismissal, redundancy, all areas of discrimination, whistleblowing, restrictive covenant and springboard claims, wrongful dismissal, pension and share schemes, disciplinary hearings, employment-related aspects of EU law and in drafting contracts of employment. Natasha regularly appears in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and has expertise in dealing with high value claims in the Employment Tribunal and the High Court.

Commercial and Consumer Credit
Natasha regularly advises on and acts in disputes involving all aspects of commercial contract law. This includes sale of goods and supply of services matters, consumer credit and financial services claims. She has been retained by the FSA to provide advice on numerous matters relating to the financial regulation of insurers. More recently, Natasha has been advising the FSA on the new consumer credit legislation and its anticipated regulatory reform.

Common law and Personal Injury
Natasha advises and represents clients in all matters of contract, tort and trust law. She is regularly instructed in personal injury and health and safety matters.
Public Law
A regular adviser to local authorities, Natasha was retained by a County Council between 2003 and 2009 to provide regular advice and representation on, in particular, employment, education, community care, data protection & freedom of information, mental health and immigration. Natasha undertakes a broad range of work in relation to judicial review and practices of public bodies of all kinds, including, to date, the Financial Services Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and the National Health Service. Other notable areas of expertise include the scope of the powers of public bodies, the law relating to education, social services, free movement of persons and employment in the civil service and by public authorities.
Property
Natasha has experience in all types of property and landlord and tenant matters, including disputes about trusts and TOLATA, boundaries and easements, disrepair, service charges, nuisance and harassment.
European
Before coming to the Bar, Natasha worked as a European lawyer in Brussels, where her caseload included EC merger control, the rules applicable to cartels and abuses of a dominant position, intellectual property rights and private international law. Natasha continues to advise clients on Brussels and Hague Convention matters, as well as EC and domestic competition law. Today, issues of human rights and EU law permeate her entire practice. Natasha has also been an editor of the European Law Reports.
