Warning: e-mail abuse! Like many other well-known sets of Chambers, we have found that our e-mail address has been hijacked by spammers and scammers. We will never address an e-mail to anyone unknown to us suggesting that we should be sent instructions or money. If you receive such an e-mail, it does not come from us. We are taking steps to minimise this abuse, but meanwhile please do not respond to any such e-mail.
Our Approach
Our focus is on the need to provide practical and commercial solutions to our clients’ problems.
We provide high quality advice and representation supported by specialist knowledge and experience. We aim to work with our clients and ensure that they are provided with a Member of Chambers, or where required, a team of Members of Chambers suited to the task.
We appreciate and recognise what today’s clients require of us. Thus we ensure that they have ready access to all Members of Chambers and their clients who are accessible via e-mail, direct telephone lines and facsimile.
Chambers aims to provide a flexible and commercial service tailored to the needs of our particular clients. In addition to receiving instructions from solicitors, we accept instructions under the BarDirect scheme from a wide range of organisations. A number of Members of Chambers are willing to consider suitable instructions under a Conditional Fee Agreement. Details of the CFA model used by Chambers, based on the PIBA standard form, are available from the Chief Clerk.
To maintain Chambers’ quality of service, our specialist practice groups ensure that not only are Members of Chambers fully informed of current developments in both the law and the sectors they serve, but also our clients are able to take advantage of their specialist expertise and advice. Members regularly give seminars and in-house training to clients and provide external lectures.
